Our goal is to preserve the precious fleeting moments surrounding the birth of your child as unobtrusively as possible. The birth of your child is a momentous event that you will treasure and enjoy. Asking us to share your experience is an incredible privilege. We believe that our role in documenting your big day is important, but ancillary to the roles played by doctors, nurses, doulas, and others providing you with physical and social support and your role in loving your new baby. To this end, we strive to be unobtrusive as possible. To accomplish this we use specially designed lenses that allow us to take photographs with less light without using flashes. Although we try to minimize our presence by using natural light and no flashes, there may be times when any presence is too much. We completely understand this and are receptive to any requests to shoot from a different angle, to stop shooting for a moment, or to leave the room temporarily. You're the boss, if a certain type of shot makes you uncomfortable, we won't take it. If you want a specific shot, we'll do our best to get it. Above all, we want you to be as comfortable as possible and will do everything we can to help you enjoy your baby's birth.
